Great things happened at Salina during reading month.

On Friday, March 9 Salina Elementary dedicated a portrait of Mrs. Nadia Youmans that will hang in the lobby to remind us of her many years of faithful service to Salina.

Salina Elementary was well represented at last night’s School Board meeting by this excellent team who lead in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Salina Elementary will be holding a book fair March 9-13. We are looking for volunteers to help students make their purchases. If you are available to volunteer, please see Mrs. Alvarado. The students had some wonderful fun and learned about motion and how it is transferred by building computer controlled robots with Legos.

As part of Hour of Code, third graders helped kindergarteners write computer programs.
