Salina Staff is very excited to begin teaching Project Lead the Way after out training on November 3. Project Lead the Way is a project based approach that incorporates science, technology, engineering and math into exciting student-driven projects. Stay tuned for pictures of our next level of student projects.
This Friday, October 30 will be movie night here a Salina Elementary at 2:45. Students must bring $2.00 and their permission slip by Thursday, October 30. No one will be allowed in if they have not turned in their permission slip and money before Friday.

Our Fun Run will be Friday, October 23. Please return your money befroe that day. Students raising $75 or more will revcieve a free shirt and be entered into the drawing for a new bike. The money raised will be used to buy equipment for Salina Elementary.
Salina Elementary will host a Family Game Night on Monday, October 12 at 4:00. Bring your children and join us for some fun play that will help your child become a better thinker. The family that plays together stays together.
Teachers of grades kindergarten through third grade recieved special Language and Literacy training this week. This training is designed to support teachers in giving each student the help they need to become proficient readers.
This is just a reminder that school will not be in session September 23, 24 ands 25 due to the Eid.
