Two boys at Salina Elementary expressed an interest in learning about bats. They researched bat habitats and found that it is possible to build houses for bats to attract them to a place. With Mr. Rummel’s help, the boys built the bat houses. The houses are now hanging on the school building where they can attract bats to eat the pests in the school garden.
