The third grade had begun using the VEX construction kits in Project Lead the Way.          

Thanks to Moe Tanana, a former Salina Student, and Home Depot for a great experience building tool boxes. All first grade students had the opportunity to work with a hammer an nails and build their own project. As you can see in the pictures, we had lots of fun.

While students were home with their parents on Tuesday, Salina staff was busy preparing for Project Lead the Way. If your students love it half as much as we did, we will have the best learning time ever!

Salina Staff is very excited to begin teaching Project Lead the Way after out training on November 3. Project Lead the Way is a project based approach that incorporates science, technology, engineering and math into exciting student-driven projects. Stay tuned for pictures of our next level of student projects.
